Fairview Guesthouse offers self-catering accommodation with exquisite views of the beautiful Dolphin Coast, situated in Salt Rock, 10 km north of Ballito, 20 minutes’ drive from King Shaka International Airport.

Wake up to the sound of the Indian Ocean breaking onto our sandy beaches. Savour the golden sunrises and swim in our mild Indian Ocean waters, even in winter.

Our Guesthouse is ideally situated for dolphin watching all year round and whale watching from August to October.

We offer two self-catering apartments, both with excellent sea views, with easy beach access 150 metres walking distance. We offer safe, gated parking. Both rooms have Wi-Fi, Smart TV’s with DSTV, Super Sport & Netflix. Electronic safes are available in each unit for storing valuables.
We are not wheelchair friendly as the Guesthouse has numerous flights of stairs. Neither are we pet-friendly.

Starfish suite

An extra flight of stairs leads to this elevated luxury suite, offering a king size bed with a beautiful sea view. Amenities consist of an en-suite bathroom (shower only).

Dolphin suite

We are home to over 1000 animals, birds, reptiles, wolves, alpacas and of course Barney and Dora. Best part is that 80% of our animals are rescued. We offer a real farm experience where you will be able to love and cuddle so many beautiful animals.
